Fenna Corry, Math Teacher

For 20 years, Fenna Corry taught math to students at the elementary, middle, high school, and community college levels in South Carolina, New Mexico, and North Carolina before moving to Oregon to work for 10 years in the corporate world. She continued her corporate work for two years after moving back to North Carolina, but missed her interaction with students and happily returned to teaching in 2008. She earned a BA in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and a Master in Management degree from Southern Oregon University.

 Ms. Corry loves to bike to school when weather permits, and also enjoys walking and rowing. She lives on five acres and has trouble learning to scale down her vegetable gardens.  She also enjoys vegetarian cooking and exploring the world of raw foods. She and her husband have three grown children, one of whom is also a high school teacher.
