Donna Christy, a native of Greensboro, educates students academically as well as nurturing their athletic achievement and good
health. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Business Administration along with a Secondary Certification
to teach mathematics from Greensboro College. She was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a three-sport, Academic All American
athlete. Before coming to AHA, Ms. Christy was one of the most decorated high school coaches in the state. She was voted Most
Outstanding Math Teacher at Lexington City High School, where she increased the students’ End of Course passing rate in Algebra II
from 34% to 77%. Ms. Christy enjoys working out in the gym, spending time with her friends and family, and reading motivational
books.
